Does it make a difference in terms of sound?
However, you can connect cables as you wish without reducing the cross-section or fraying the copper wires. The larger spacing between the terminals makes them extremely easy to use!
Elsewhere, the terminals are so tight that if you use bananas they can cause short circuits.

The speaker pairs
Elsewhere, "only" the speaker pair "B" is changed, and then it's much too close together, so there's no better usability.
Okay, this requires more work, but it's worth it. This provides a real increase in comfort.
If you're going to renovate, do it right!
Distance
Only at this distance can the terminals be optimally operated and the cable be clamped and secured correctly. The risk of a short circuit is also very low. Even if you use banana plugs, nothing will happen. And that applies to both pairs of speakers!
The conversion
Intervention
Another intervention is carried out on the chassis of the Revox B750. Sawing is required here as well!
The markings are made using the previously sawn back panel. This is quick with a jigsaw. Then a little filing and you're done. The chassis cutout is covered by the new circuit board and will no longer be visible.

Montage
The RCA sockets can then also be equipped with the extended distance
(now only available in black).Drill two more holes on the right, and assembly can begin! Two mounting points are perfectly sufficient due to the sturdy epoxy circuit board.
Ready
If it looks like this, everything fits.
The edges are painted gray. Speaker pairs A and B, as well as right and left, are labeled. All binding posts are easy and safe to use. You can connect the cables directly or use 4 mm banana plugs.
